Last summer I spent some time (and money for electricity >_<) mining bitcoins.
Bitcoin is a sort of digital currency. You haven’t heard of it before? Time for wikipedia. This post is not about bitcoins though, I just wanted to share this photo I found from back then.
Just like I’ve shown before, cable ties are awesome, and always useful. To have those two video cards stable without being mounted in a chassis, I just hooked them up to the CPU cooler with couple of cable ties 😉
Keeping those cards below 100°C definitely required those extra fans. It was loud and hot. I can’t believe I put up with it for several months, lol. 🙂
